Youth Outdoor 2021

Age groups that were not filled by pre-registration (Mar 17- Apr 5) will be available through on line registration opening at 9am April 8.

*Age groups will close automatically as they fill or by April 30. Anyone attempting to register when a division is full will then be placed on a wait list. Contact will be made IF a spot on a team becomes available. Additional teams will not be added.

As we continue to navigate COVID 19, our program plans are contingent on local and Provincial COVID 19 protocols. All age groups will have 4 teams only and will be limited to 40 players total, per age group. No additional teams will be added once these are filled. Please allow us to concentrate on the challenge to provide soccer, recruit volunteers and schedule, during this time. Team mate requests are not accepted and will not be responded to. Siblings in the same age group will automatically be placed together.

Tentatively, the season will run for 12 weeks starting July 6 and ending September 23, 2021. Registration fee is $180 per player. Should the season be cancelled due to COVID 19 BEFORE it begins, a refund of registration fees would be provided minus a $25 administration fee. If the season is cancelled AFTER it has already begun then the refund of fees would be minus any games played and minus the $25 administration fee.

** Guidelines surrounding COVID-19 are fluid, it is possible this information could change at any time

GENERAL INFORMATION

WFC’s outdoor soccer program is a recreational, game-based league with volunteer coaches. Games are played once a week at Cowan Park Sportsplex, located at 895 Ridgewood Drive. Kickoff time is 6:30 for all age groups. All youth players receive a 3-piece uniform; players must supply their own shin pads and cleats. Player requests are not accepted; however, siblings in the same age group will be placed together.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Woodstock FC relies on the generosity of volunteer coaches for our Recreational House League soccer programs. Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in soccer, while at the same time supporting your club and your community.

PLEASE NOTE: The Ontario Government has enacted Rowan’s Law (Concussion Safety), requiring all sport organizations, which includes the Woodstock Soccer Club, to have a Concussion Code of Conduct. This Concussion Code of Conduct requires all participants UNDER THE AGE OF 26 to review the Ontario Government’s issued Concussion Awareness Resources on an annual basis. The WSC Concussion Code of Conduct, and the appropriate Concussion Awareness Resources, MUST be reviewed before you can register/participate with WSC. Please review and complete your Rowan’s Law Acknowledgement Form BEFORE registering or participating in a Woodstock FC program.
